Our guests can check in or out any time during regular business hours. Our staff is working behind the scenes taking care of our guests; and will not be able to check in/check out guests outside of business hours. If you do need special accommodations due to your travel schedule, please let us know. We will do what we can to assist.
We have three designated parking spots directly in front of our lobby entrance. Please ensure your pet is on a leash and under your control at all times. We are in a busy area and may have several guests checking in or out at the same time.
We will be closed for check-in/check-outs during all major holidays including New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. A non refundable deposit will be required during holidays and peak times.
The minimum age for our guests is 4 months in order to have all vaccinations completed. Puppies will be socialized with other puppies close to the same age. This is a great time to socialize and begin a training program for your little one.
We will board older pets with no age restriction. However, please keep in mind the needs of your senior pet and its potential anxiety of not having you nearby.
We have no direct breed restriction; however, each dog must go through a temperament test before being boarded or allowed into group play. If a staff member feels the pet might be a threat to other dogs or staff members, the staff member may refuse service.
Any pet showing aggression during the temperament test. If a pet becomes aggressive in any way during its stay, it will be separated from the playgroup and may not be able to return to our facility. The safety of our staff, your pet, and our other guests is our first priority.
We reserve the right not to board/daycare pets if they are aggressive, sick, females "in heat", not current on vaccinations, less than 16 weeks old or for other reasons based on discretion from staff.
Please let us know if your pet requires constant medical attention or has been diagnosed with a contagious disease. We will gladly suggest another facility that has veterinarians on staff.
The safety of our guests is our first priority. We require that all pets staying with us be current on the vaccinations listed below. Pet vaccinations should be administered at least 7 days prior to arrival by a licensed veterinarian - we are unable to accept home-administered pet vaccinations. Written proof of current pet vaccines must be received by HeartStrings Pet Resort at least 72 hours prior to check-in or the reservation may be cancelled and any deposit forfeited.
Flea and tick treatment is preferred; but not required.
