I love HeartStrings Pet Resort! The owner is very invested in the animals that she boards or does day care for. The facility is extremely clean and the dogs are given baths. She has K9 grass and lots of toys for all of the dogs. The staff is always super friendly! The best thing is it doesn’t smell bad like some of the others I have been too!

Heartstrings Pet Resort on Riggs. Rene is the owner.  Sweet woman that loves all animals.   Rick J FANTASTIC!!! Have a Cocker Spaniel female 1 1/2 years old who is scared of her own shadow, so to speak. After talking with Rene, who has been VERY helpful, decided to try 1/2 day “Doggy Day Care” which happened yesterday. Brought her 3 year old brother along so she would have a familiar face while staying there for 5 hours. Called Rene about two hours later and the feedback was better than expected. Plan on taking them again in two weeks, hoping that socializing with other dogs will help her, still having her “brother” with her so she will feel safe. HIGHLY recommend visiting and talking with Rene. Her resort is spotless, the employees all terrific, costs for 1/2 day or all day “Day Care” are very reasonable. Add to that the boarding services available, it’s a win-win. Having 2 play areas, one for small & one for larger dogs is perfect, not like some places that just put them all together regardless of size. Had looked around a lot earlier this summer about boarding and several were not worth any consideration but was really glad to see HeartStrings open their doors. Now customers have different options and with people who are “Dog Lovers’ like myself. Hope this helps.   Ken M
